Uniontown FFA will be representing the state of Kansas at the 2019 National FFA Livestock Judging contest as a result of its State Championship in May. Good luck to current student Clay Brillhart & 2019 graduates Nick Hathaway, Haydon Schaaf, Makenzee Franklin as they compete.

The crosswalk project is under way! Thank you to Matt Brock and Bourbon County Public Works for your parts in this project. LED signage and in road lighting will greatly increase safety at this crossing between the buildings.

Chris Franklin, manager at Ag Choice of Hepler, visited WBE to distribute awesome new water bottles to our Kindergarten classes. Thank you Ag Choice! The students love them!

Congratulations to the 2019 Uniontown HS National Honor Society inductees, Aiden Holt, Rhiann Gorman, Karleigh Schoenberger, Libby Schaaf, Clay Brillhart, Drew Perry, and Clay Sutterby. Mrs. Camac and the current NHS members conducted the special ceremony.





On Senior Night, the Varsity VB ladies take the 1st Match of the night, beating Oswego 27-25, 22-25, 25-12!! Way to go, ladies!!




Don George, Fisheries Biologist, with Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, & Tourism came to Uniontown today to stock the pond. Mr. George spoke with students about the pond and its ecosystem. He shared with students the benefits of stocking the pond and all of the life systems impacted by the pond. We appreciate Mr. George taking time to share this information with our students.





We would like to congratulate Mrs. Carrie Miller for being selected as the USD 235 Employee of the Month for September 2019.
Mrs. Miller was nominated by a WBE colleague. The colleague commented, “Mrs. Miller goes above and beyond to make learning fun and interesting for her 3rd grade students. She teaches with hands-on lessons that keep the students active. Mrs. Miller motivates her students and it is evident how much she cares.”
We are proud to award Mrs. Carrie Miller as the Employee of the Month for September 2019.
