The Uniontown FFA Chapter Banquet will be held on Wednesday, April 20th at 7:00 PM at Rosies Cabin. RSVP forms were sent home with members early last week. All members freshman through Senior and their families are heavily encouraged to attend. Reach out to Mr. Sutton if you have questions.
JH Track Meet Results (Thursday, April 14 at Jayhawk Linn)
On Thursday, April 14th JH track athletes competed at Jayhawk Linn. There were 14 teams competing.

Camilla Cagle-5th in 100M Hurdles
7th grade girls 4X100M Relay placed 6th. (Wolf, Shultz, Cagle, Stagg)

Keenan Keller-3rd in 400M, 5th in Long Jump
Hunter Johnson-3rd in 800M, 2nd in 100M Hurdles
Max Wehry-3rd in 1600M
7th grade boys 4X100M Relay placed 4th. (Knight, Harris, Bartlett, Johnson)
Kassen Woods-2nd 100M, Tied for 6th in High Jump
Lane Stewart-3rd 100M, 4th 200M, 5th in High Jump
8th grade boys 4X200M Relay placed 4th. (Reed, Deibert, L. Stewart, Woods)
Many athletes achieved a new personal record in one or more events. Great job to all the competitors.

Uniontown was very well represented at the SE District FFA Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening in Chanute, KS. The SE district is comprised of 27 schools and FFA members were recognized last night for their outstanding achievement throughout the school year. The following Uniontown FFA members were recognized:

We are excited to be able to reopen to the public the Uniontown Fitness Center. It will be open to the public beginning on Wednesday, April 13, at 5:30 PM. The Fitness Center is located on the southeast corner of the Jr/Sr High School.
For those of you who have a keycard, those should still work. To obtain a key card to access the Fitness Center you will need to contact Mr. Vance Eden, Principal at West Bourbon Elementary School.
You will be required to sign a sheet acknowledging you will agree to follow the Rules/Regulations for the Uniontown Fitness Center. You will also need to pay a one-time fee of $10.00. The rules, regulations, and hours are on a jpeg accompanying this post.
Once you have done those two things, you will be given a keycard and may begin using the Uniontown Fitness Center.

FITNESS CENTER OPENING on Wednesday, April 13 - The Fitness Center will be opening back up to the public on Wednesday, April 13. The Fitness Center hours will resume Wednesday, April 13 after school is out at 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM.
The Fitness Center will be open in the morning beginning on Thursday, April 14. We will post Monday-Friday and Saturday and Sunday hours on April 13 in the afternoon. You will still need your key card to enter from the outside of the Fitness Center.
Congratulations to the Junior High Ag students as they were named the Champion team overall and won their 3rd contest in a row yesterday at the Blue Dragon Livestock Contest in Lyons, KS. Individually Kole Harris was 3rd, Jaci Marlow 6th and Klara Stock 8th.

Another great day for Uniontown FFA!Champion Junior High Livestock Judging Team, Miami County Aggie Day- Paola, KS. Klara Stock was 5th Individually, Jace Harvey 7th and Abbi Brown 8th! We also had the 2nd place FFA Meat Evaluation team with Mark Blythe finishing 2nd.

The JH Band had a lot of fun at TRL Mass Band yesterday. They made new friends, played fantastic music, and gave an excellent performance. Next up for them is Mid-America Music Festival on April 23rd!
